Job Description
This position will assist in establishment of a pipeline integrity management program as well as coordinating all aspects of pipeline integrity, including managing pigging operations, interfaces with our Life Cycle Information (LCI) data, and Equinor's SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) program.
This position requires a candidate to possess strong leadership skills and the ability to safely lead contract crews in the field.
This position will be based in Three Rivers, Texas and will report directly to the Eagle Ford Midstream Pipeline Superintendent.
Task and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a Pipeline Integrity Program implementable across all pipeline assets in Equinor's operated Eagle Ford field including DOT/PHMSA HCA areas.
Scope and plan in-line inspections as part of integrity program, analyze results, and prepare statistical analysis of findings.
Scope, plan, and execute pipeline tests and inspections as part of integrity program, analyze test/inspection results, and develop repair or evaluation plans to facilitate timely repair or evaluation.
Analyze pipeline defects using currently available formulas and methodologies.
Advise field personnel on proper repair methods.
Perform data integration of relevant pipeline information for threat mitigation.
Complete project close-out reports once field work is complete.
Utilizes appropriate standards and resources to determine pipeline remediation.
Perform field inspections of contractor crews to ensure compliance with safety, project specifications, procedures, permitting requirements, local requirements.
Follow-up with third party mechanical integrity contractor(s) on work performed.
Ensure regulatory compliance, provide documentation and participate in external agency compliance audits (incl. DOT & PSM).
Maintain pigging database and optimize testing plan to address mechanical integrity issues and mitigate problems.
Manage Cathodic Protection (CP) contractor and crews to analyze all phases of corrosion control, implementing corrosion control programs but not limited to cathodic protection, coatings, internal corrosion and AC mitigation.
Need to possess SAP knowledge and handle interface with SAP PM.
Update relevant tag information in LCI systems.
Contribute knowledge and insight during incident investigations.
Support midstream engineering and construction projects.
Identify and develop initiatives to ensure high levels of regularity and minimal downtime.
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of (10) ten years of experience in the development, implementation, and maintaining of pipeline systems, pigging operations, as well as asset integrity management programs.
Must have experience and competence within each of the following:
o 49 CFR 192 and 195
o API 570 Piping Inspection Code (Inspection, Repair, Alteration and Rerating of In-Service Piping Systems)
o ASME B31.3 Process Piping
o ASME B31.8 Gas Transmission & Distribution Piping Systems
o Coating standards
o Welding standards
o NACE certifications
o SAP PM maintenance management, including criticality assessments and maintenance programs for inspections
Strong background in onshore operations (upstream and midstream), including production facilities, gathering and transmission pipelines, and oil and gas processing plants.
Experience required regarding a wide range of surface equipment associated with upstream and midstream processing including gas and condensate/oil gathering, gas treatment and compression, condensate stabilization and storage, and gas and condensate measurement and sales.
Strong MS Office skills: Excel spreadsheets, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
